With today being my last day of high school ever I thought that I would write a little about my feelings about high school. During the last four years I have learned a lot. I learned how to do things like write research papers, the quadratic equation, the urinal rule (which I'll explain about later), but the important things are ones that I did not necessarily learn in class. So here is my list of What I Learned in High School:
How to make friends, fight with friends, and make up with friends.
How to eat the least disgusting food in the cafeteria.
How to get good grades with minimal effort.
How to not study.
How to drive.
Why people say love hearts.
How to avoid people that hurt me.
How to do homework five minutes before it is due.
How to bend to the rules of administration to get donuts during class.
How to wear sweats for five days straight, and then all weekend.
How to roll out of bed and get to school in 10 minutes.
How to avoid detention.
How to love best friends you never talk to.
How to do nothing all day long and still feel productive.
People change a lot.
but mostly I learned that it feels great to be done.
Graduation, here I come!

You are Beautiful
Princesses
The self image is a concept that can be distorted by many people. Put simply, it is how you see yourself and how you think other people see you. You self image is not always correct. How you see yourself can change based on others opinions. Which is not always a good thing. People can be very judgmental, and some people are very outspoken with these judgments. The things people say to us can hurt and it can affect of self image in a negative way. People can help a self image to. Compliments bring it up and insults bring it down. The only thing that actually matters is how you see yourself. You should see yourself as a Princess, or Prince. And treat yourself accordingly. I once knew a girl who had Down Syndrome. She was just a little ball of sunshine. She always came and gave every one hugs and everything about her was simply pleasant. Almost everyday she wore either a tutu or a tiara. If you asked why she was wearing it she would say, "because I am a princess, and you are too. Hey, where is your princess crown?" From this I always know to see myself and treat myself accordingly. And anyone you treats you badly doesn't deserve to be near you. When people around me are down on themselves and don't think they are 100% beautiful I only look them in the eye and say, "Oh, shut up. You look like a Princess! Just beautiful." Because that is just how every girl should feel all the time, as beautiful as a Princess. I suppose boys could feel like football stars or something. Just perfect they way they are. Beautiful.
Digital FootPrint
Nearly everyone uses the Internet. Either for school, work, or entertainment of any kind. Most people don't think about the tracks they leave behind. This includes the TV, mobile web, the Internet. It tracks even the smallest things, including everything you search for, click on, liked, every website you have visited, where you were when you got online, every comment made, and many other scary things. So here is a friendly warning to be smart about everything you do on the internet, including mobile web. All of this information is not available for the public, but information you put on social network can come back to bite you. Employers often look you up on facebook when they concider employing you. Be careful out there.

Social Media.
Social media.
In filling out a Google document about social media. I did not learn much because I use those social networks often enough that I know how to use them and some of the perks that they have. However, there were somethings that I had never thought of before. For example;
When a picture is uploaded to Instagram, all copy rights, publication rights, and other rights are reserved to Instagram. This means that they can publish them anywhere they choose or do anything with them with out your permission. I read something that was worrying about the possibility of their photos showing up on commercials or any number of other media sources. Instagram also makes it very easy to make your photos look more professional. The filters make all the difference in a picture. From my own experience I have noticed that a filter can either make a picture look perfect, artistic, and all around wonderful; it can also make is look over edited and extremely fake.
On another social network, Twitter, the photo editing process is about the same. I believe it is a better quality because it rarely makes a picture look pixelated like other photo sharing websites can. However, photos are not the main focus of Twitter. This site tries to allow for easy communication. On nearly everything I have seen or read about Twitter touches on the ease of conversation and the convenience for finding information, along with some humor about its addictive qualities. There are some people who tweet, or update, nonstop. Twitter has a limit on the amount of updates you can do in an hour, which is 1000. In my opinion, that is a good thing because when I scroll through my twitter and all I see are the rambling conversation to no one but themselves, then I get annoyed. When the creators made twitter I do not think the intended for it to be a place for someone to talk to themselves, but for some people that is what it is. Not that there aren't people who tweet witty updates at a normal rate of just a few a day, but some people do go a little over board. In generl, Twitter is a very amusing site to be spending my time on.
Tune in next time to hear me rant about any other topic under the sun.
